As the leaves start to change and a chill lingers in the air, it is hard to deny winter is almost here. Many of us will purchase new coats, boots, and gloves to keep ourselves warm throughout the long winter months. Instead of throwing out your gently used items, consider donating them to someone in need. KerberRose is partnering with the Oshkosh Area United Way during the month of October to host a “Winter Gear Supply Drive” to bring warmth to local adults and children.

The Oshkosh Area United Way assists local families bridge the gap for families needing assistance. The supply drive will be accepting a variety of items through October 31, 2019. Consider donating these top ten pieces of clothing to keep a neighbor warm during the winter:

1. Winter coats for men, women, and children
2. Snow pants for men, women, and children
3. Gloves and mittens for men, women, and children
4. Hats and headbands for men, women and children
5. Scarves
6. Boots for men, women, and children
7. Wool Socks (new)
8. Winter Baby Clothing
9. Base-layers and long underwear (new)
10. Sweaters for men, women, and children

Winter gear and clothing can be dropped off at KerberRose Certified Public Accountants at 1750 West Pointe Drive in Oshkosh. Drop off times are Monday through Thursday 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday from 8 am to Noon. If you have questions, please contact KerberRose (920) 426-1040.
